Void’s Light

Void’s light

A dark void comes in the night
and steals away all hope and joy
we take up arms in hope to fight
but violence is its ploy

Consuming all within its path
it’s hate and malice know no bounds
it seeks to sacrifice a holy calf
and feed it to the rabid hounds

but within the black there is a spark
a light can still be found
the arrow that flies and hits its mark
Will draw the final sound

For within all despair there is still hope
A joy within the pain
So at the gallows we untie the rope
And embrace this newfound gain
