“To The Holy Ones”

Hail, thee who are blessed and fair
Gaze at the light, and the sudden light
Knoweth, the sweet and keen smell
Ah, the wings of song softly steals thy spirit away
To the holy ones by the sea
To the holy ones on the river
And the wonderful wedding that is thy grand family

Lo! Thine eyes brilliant and pure
How statue-like
As if a high mountain appears before thy door
The warm wind stayeth here
Despite the lamp lit within thy centre!
Thou prayeth with hands pressed against thine head
So, from birth we command
Becometh holy !
